Here's the syllabus and course description for Math 355, Discrete Mathematics: Course Description

My office hourse are: Monday 11-12 and 1:30-2:30. Wednesday: 11-12. If you would like to talk to me on Friday, I am usually in my office from 11 to 12 and 1 to 2. Please email for an appointment if desired.

Assignment I, due on October 5, is problems 7, 8, and 9.

Assignment II, due on October 12, is problems 21, 23, and either 26 or 27.

Assignment III, due on October 19, is problems 32, 48, and 56.

Assignment IV, due on October 26, is problems 63 and 72. If you did not receive full points on 56, you can turn it in again for full credit. Please include your first attempt as well.

The midterm examination will be given in class on Wednesday November 11. Here's last year's midterm: Midterm 2008

Assignment VII consists of: 118 (give an inductive proof of the Binomial Theorem), 137, and 138. It is due on Monday November 23.

There will no official class on Wednesday November 23. Instead I am offering office hours by appointment. In other words, please confirm in advance if you will be dropping by.
